Vegetarian Pasta Recipes – Pesto Pasta

Ingredients:
1/2 cup – Olive oil
200 gms – Pasta
1/4 cup – Roasted bell peppers
1 tbsp – Garlic minced
1 1/2 cup – Fresh basil chopped
2 1/2 tbsp – Pine or walnuts chopped
1/4 No – Lemon juice
1/4 cup – Feta cheese or Parmesan cheese grated
1/4 tsp – Pepper
Salt to taste

Method:
Cook pasta and keep aside.
Blend all the ingredients except pasta and the cheese till smooth.
The sauce should be relatively thin.
Transfer to a bowl and add in the pasta with the grated cheese. Serve. Natural Basil Pesto from Genova (Pesto Genovese)

You may choose to replace green pesto with red pesto instead.
