Vegetarian Lifestyle

Over the last few decades, scientific findings have shown a strong correlation between our diet and body's overall functioning.
The information substantiates the adoption of a vegetarian lifestyle on two accounts
Nutritional value and
Anatomical structure of the body

Nutritional value
Meat foods are a very poor source of dietary fibre, minerals, vitamins, sugar and starch, which is found plentiful in fruits and vegetables.
Secondly meat contains large amount of saturated fat and uric acid, which is harmful for health. Carnivores have an ability to metabolise any amount of fat. While human body has a very limited capacity. This results in increased fat deposits, along the inner walls of the arteries, which can cause blood clotting and heart attacks.

The only essential nutrient found in meat is, proteins, which cannot be derived from single plant source to meet body's requirements. But can be met by consuming dairy products (milk, butter cheese), beans, nuts, grains or lentils, which are concentrated source of proteins. Cheese, lentils and peanuts contain more proteins per ounce than pork or ham. The Fiber35 Diet: Nature's Weight Loss Secret

Anatomical structure
Humans do not have claws or sharp front teeth like carnivores for tearing flesh. Rather, they have teeth like herbivores for chewing food and jaws for moving it side wards. As opposed to carnivores, who do not need jaws as they simply swallow meat.
For digesting meat food high amount of hydrochloric acid is required. While humans and herbivores produce less than 1/20th of what carnivores have.
Human and herbivorous animals have long and winding intestines which are 12 times the length of the body. As compared to carnivores, whose intestines are only 4 times the length, of their body. This makes it easier for them to throw out the flesh. While humans retain the decaying flesh for a longer time which gives rise to number of toxins. Any flesh naturally has toxins in it. By eating more flesh you simply increase toxic content. If at all the animal is suffering from a disease that too gets passed on.
