Vegetarian Burger Recipe – Spinach Burger

Ingredients:
Burger Buns
1 cup – Spinach chopped
1 No – Spring onion chopped
1 cup – Beans
1/4-1/2 cup – Bread crumbs
1/4 cup – Rice cooked
1 tsp – Soy sauce
1/2 tsp – Garlic finely chopped
1 tbsp – Balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp – Chilli garlic sauce
Salt to taste

Method:
Drain the beans of any cooking liquid and mash it well with a potato masher or back of a spoon.
Add all the ingredients expect for oil and combine.
Shape the mixture into patties. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Heat a heavy based pan (preferably cast iron) and add 2-3 tbsp of oil.
Place the patties on it and let it cook till brown. Then reverse the side and do the same.
Serve these patties inside the buns topped with cheese slices, onions etc of your choice.
