Vegetarian Burger Recipe – Chickpea Burger
Ingredients:
Burger buns
1/4 cup – Oil
1 cup – Chickpeas/garbanzo beans cooked
1 cup – Sprouted moong beans semi cooked
1 No – Onion finely chopped
4 No – Garlic finely chopped or grated
1/2 tsp – Red chilli powder
2 tbsp – Coriander chopped
1 tbsp – Date paste
1 tsp – Pomegranate seed powder
1/2 tsp – Dry mango powder
1/4 tsp – Cumin powder
Salt to taste
Method:
Mash the beans and sprouts well.
Heat a pan and dry the above mix in it for 2-3 mins. Turn off heat.
Add the seasonings to it and mix well.
Shape the dough to form patties.
Heat a heavy based pan (preferably cast iron) and add 2-3 tbsp of oil.
