Vegetarian Burger Recipe - 3


Cauliflower Cheese Burger


Ingredients:
5 No - Burger buns
1/2 cup - Oil
1 cup - Potato mashed
1 No - Onion diced finely
1 1/2 cup - Cauliflower finely chopped
1/2 tsp - Seasoned salt
1/4 tsp - Pepper
1/4 tsp - Cumin powder
1/2 tsp - Garlic finely chopped or grated
1/2 tsp - Ginger finely chopped or grated
5 No - Bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp - Thyme or
1 1/2 tsp - Parsley freshly chopped
3 tbsp - Corn flour
2 No - Green chillies finely chopped or grated
1 tbsp - Coriander chopped


Garnish:
5 No - Cheese slices or Cheese sauce
5 No - Lettuce leaves


Method:
Stir fry the cauliflower and mix it with the potatoes and seasonings.
Grind the bread crumbs and add them to the above mix with some corn flour to get a firm dough.
If you feel more seasoning is needed increase as per taste or if extra corn flour is needed for binding then add some.
Roll out the dough to make patties. Progressive International The Perfect Burger Press

Heat a heavy based pan (preferably cast iron) and add 2-3 tbsp of oil.
Place the patties on it and let it cook till brown. Then reverse the side and do the same.
Serve with cheese, lettuce and any sauce of your preference.
