Vegetable Recipes – Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients:
2 tbsp – Sesame Oil
10-12 No – Lettuce leaves
2 cup – Vegetables finely chopped
2 tbsp – Peanut coarsely powdered
1 tbsp – Garlic finely chopped
1 tbsp – Red chilly paste
1 tbsp – Soy Sauce
Pinch of MSG
Salt to taste
Method:
Wash and rinse the whole lettuce leaves in cold water. Drain and set aside in a cool place.
Heat oil in a pan fry the garlic briefly add vegetables (should be soft and firm) and stir fry on a high flame.
Add MSG and cook additional 4-5 mins.
Add the soy, chilly sauce and salt and combine well.
Then remove from heat add the peanuts and set aside.
Serve
On a glass plate put the lettuce leaves upside down.
Put the vegetables on a hot plate and plum sauce in a bowl.
Take one leaf at a time and spread 2 tsp of plum sauce all over and add 2 tsp of vegetable mixture in the centre.
Wrap the leaf and serve immidately.
