Vegetable Recipes – Lasuni Jimikand (Yam)

Ingredients:
2-3 tbsp – Oil
1 cup – Yam (jimikand) diced
10 No – Garlic cloves
4 No – Red chillies dry broken
4 No – Green chillies slit
6 No – Curry leaves
1/2 tsp – Urad dal (white gram)
1/2 tbsp – Rice flour
3 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
Pinch of hing
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add urad dal chillies and curry leaves stir for a min.
Add whole garlics cook till a little soft and roughly mash them with the spoon.
Add the the yam adn seasonings. Stir well.
Dissolve the rice flour in water (about 1/8 cup or less) and add.
Serve hot.
