Vegetable Recipes – Jackfruit Vegetable
Ingredients:
1 tbsp – Oil
1 No – Bay leaf
250 gms – Jackfruit chopped (kathal)
1 No – Tomato small grated
1 tsp – Tamarind pulp
1 No – Onion grated
1/4 tsp – Red chilli powder
2 tbsp – Tomato puree
2 No – Garlic grated
1/4 tsp – Ginger grated
1/4 tsp – Garam Masala
1/4 tsp – Turmeric
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil and add the bay leaf , chillies and onion. Cook the onions till brown and then add ginger garlic and cook for 1-2 mins.
Then add the jack fruit and tomaotes cook further.
Add the rest and cook till the mix leaves oil.
Add some water if you would like to form curry or else serve hot with bread or chapatti.
