Vegetable Recipes – American Chopsuey

This is another Indian fusion recipe made with vegetables, fried noodles using Chinese sauces.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp – Oil
1/2 cupĀ  – Noodles
1/2 cup – Cabbage chopped
1/4 cup – Peppers chopped
1/4 cup – Carrots chopped
1/4 cup – Green beans chopped
1/2 cup – Bean sprout chopped
1 No – Onion chopped
1 tsp – Garlic finely chopped
1 No – Tomato chopped
1 tsp – Soy sauce
1 tbsp – Red chilli sauce
2 tbsp – Red chilli paste
1 tbsp – Ketchup
1 tbsp – Vinegar
2 cup – Vegetable stock
1 tsp – Corn flour
Large pinch MSG
Salt to taste

Method:
Boil the noodles and drain.
Apply hot oil to them sprinkle a little corn flour and fry.
Heat oil in another pan and briefly fry garlic, onion and peppers.
Shred the vegetables into juliennes and stir fry for 2-3 mins.
Add the rest and mix well.
Add corn flour for thickening the mix.
Serve hot with noodles.
