Vegetable RecipesVegetable Recipes - 11 American Chopsuey Ingredients: 3 tbsp - Oil 200 gm - Noodles 1/2 cup - Cabbage chopped 1/4 cup - Peppers chopped 1/4 cup - Carrots chopped 1/4 cup - Green beans chopped 1/2 cup - Bean sprout chopped 1 No - Onion chopped 1 tsp - Garlic finely chopped 1 No - Tomato chopped 1 tsp - Red chilli sauce 2 tbsp - Ketchup 2 cup - Vegetable stock 1 tsp - Corn flour Large pinch MSG Salt to taste Method: Boil the noodles and drain. Apply hot oil to them sprinkle a little corn flour and fry. Heat oil in another pan and briefly fry garlic, onion and peppers. Shred the vegetables into juliennes and stir fry for 2-3 mins. Add the rest and mix well. Add corn flour for thickening the mix. Serve hot with fried noodles. Vegetable Recipes - 12 Panner/Tofu in chillies Ingredients: 1/4 cup - Oil 1 cup - Panner or tofu diced 1 No - Spring onion chopped 2 tsp - Garlic finely chopped 1/2 tsp - Green chilli finely chopped 1/2 tsp - Ginger grated 1 No - Pepper diced 1 1/2 tbsp - Corn flour 1 1/2 tbsp - Soy sauce 1/4 cup - Vegetable stock 1/8 tsp - Pepper 1/4 tsp - MSG Salt to taste Method: Mix all the 3rd to the 9th ingredients in a bowl and prepare a medium thick batter using water as required. Heat oil in a pan and lightly stir fry the tofu or panner pieces. If any batter is left than keep it aside. Heat oil in another pan and saute the peppers and spring onions. Add garlic and continue over a high heat. Add the stock, remaining batter and pepper let it cook for 3-5 mins. Add the panner pieces mix well and serve.
