Tomato Gravy Recipe

Ingredients:
1 No – Bay leaf
1 No – Cinnamon stick small
1 No – Onion large finely chopped
1 tbsp – Garlic finely chopped
1 tsp – Ginger finely chopped
2 tbsp – Tomato paste
1 cup – Tomatoes finely chopped or tomato puree
1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
1 tsp – Garam masala
1/4 tsp – Turmeric
2 tsp – Coriander powder
1 tsp – Red chilli powder
1/4 cup – Yogurt
1/8 tsp – Dry fenugreek
2-3 tbsp – Coriander chopped
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat oil in a pan and when hot add cumin seeds, bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
Add onion, ginger, garlic and fry till brown.
Add the tomatoes and seasoning and cook till the oil separates (approx 10 mins).
Add some sugar if you find the taste going sour.
Reduce flame and add the yogurt (make sure beat or blend the yogurt so that it is smooth).
Simmer and cook for 3-5 mins. Garnish with corinader.
