Thanksgiving Recipes – Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:
1 tbsp – Oil
3 No – Peppers small chopped
100 gms – Vermicelli broken boiled
1/4 cup – Carrot medium grated
1/4 cup – Corns boiled
1 No – Onion medium chopped
1/2 tsp – Oregano dried
1/2 tsp – Thyme dried
1/4 tsp – Garlic minced
1/2 tsp – Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp – Paprika
1 cup – Tomato sauce
1/2 cup – Cheese
Sea salt to taste

Method:
Heat oil in a frying pan and saute onion and garlic till soft.
Add the carrot, corns and seasoning and cook for 2-3 mins.
Then add the tomato sauce and vermicelli and cook for 5-7 mins.
Cut the peppers in half and scoop out the central portion and then add in the filling. Or scoop out each peppers seeds, core, and whites. stuff with the above mix and baste with oil.
Place peppers in a baking dish and garnish with cheese. Bake till golden brown and serve.
