Thanksgiving Appetizers – Cream Cheese Canapes
Ingredients:
8-10 No – Canapes
1 cup – Cream cheese
3 tbsp – Chives minced
3 tbsp – Yellow pepper diced
3 tbsp – Olives sliced
2 tbsp – Sun dried tomatoes minced
1/4 cup – Chilli Sauce Huey Fong Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce (28oz)
Salt to taste
Method:
Cut rounds from bread slices with cutter, then brush 1 side with butter and bake on a large baking sheet until pale golden.
Preheat broiler.
Soak the tomatoes in hot water for 1 hour.
Add chilli sauce and blend till the mixture is creamy (the cream cheese should be soft for blending).
Next add chives, and seasonings and mix.
Then add peppers and olives and mix.
Spoon the mix on the canapes.
Garnish with tomatoes.
Sprinkle cheese and broil till the cheese turns golden and bubbly. Then serve.
