Simple Appetizers - 1


Tofu or Cottage Cheese wrap


Ingredients:
1 cup - Cottage cheese (paneer) sliced
4 tbsp - Yogurt thick
1 tsp - Cumin powder
1 No - Onion finely chopped
1/2 cup - Mint chutney thick
Salt to taste


Method:
In a bowl add cumin to the yogurt and mix well.
Add mint chutney and further combine.
Marinate the cottage cheese in this mix for about an hour.
Heat oil in a pan and saute onions till colour changes.
Add the rest and cook for about 2-3 mins.
Remove and set aside.
Add the filling to either torilla or Roti. Serve hot.


Appetizer Recipe - 2


Onion and Pepper (Capsicum) Rings


Ingredients:
1 cup - Onion rings
1/2 cup - Green pepper rings
1/2 pack - Tempura flour
Salt to taste


Tempura Batter
1/2 cup - Oil
1/2 cup - Corn flour
1 cup - Refined flour
1/4 tbsp - Baking powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste


Method:
Make a thick batter of Tempura using (salt and water).
Dip the rings in it and fry. Serve with any sauce of your choice. Hime Tempura Batter Mix
