Simple Appetizers – Yogurt Fruit Bites
Ingredients:
4 No – Orange slices
2 No – Kiwi cut round slices
2 No – Pineapple cut round slices
2 No – Apple round slices
1/4 cup – Yogurt
1 No – Fresh jalapeno finely chopped
1/2 tsp – Lemon zest grated
1/4 tsp – Garlic powder
1 tbsp – Lemon juice
1 tsp – Chives finely chopped
Rock salt to taste
Method:
Wash and cut the fruits in thick rounds. Peel was and make a small slit in the orange to add the filling. Mix the seasonings with yogurt in a bowl. Keep it in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour.
Place the fruits on a platter add a dollop of the yogurt mix on each fruit slice and serve.
Option: You may replace fruits with vegetables like cucumber, carrots, zucchini or wrap the filling lettuce leaves etc.
