Simple Appetizers – Thai Bean (Baa Yir)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup – Oil
1 cup – Green Lentils (Moong dal)
4 tbsp – Corn flour
1 tbsp – All purpose flour (optional)
4 tbsp – Green Curry Paste thick
2 tsp – Soy Sauce
Salt to taste

Sauce
1 tbsp – Sugar
1/2 tsp – Salt
3 tbsp – Rice vinegar

Method:
Heat the sauce ingredients over a low flame till the sugar dissolves. Then let the mix cool.
Make a medium thick batter using water and refined flour. If neeeded add all purpose flour to get the desired consistency.
Soak the beans and thoroughly wash to remove the skin.
Cook on a low flame till the water dries.
Grind the beans with out adding water to get a crispy powder textured mix.
Add the remaining ingredients and combine well.
Shape into balls and dip in the batter and fry.
Serve hot with sauce.
