Quick Easy Appetizers – Swiss Circles & Mushroom Chilli

Ingredients:
Oil
8 No – Bread slices
1 No – Pepper finely chopped
1 cup – Cottage cheese (panner) grated
1 No – Cheese cube grated
1/2 No – Carrot grated
2 tbsp – Refined flour
2 tbsp – Hot & sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp – Ketchup
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Method:
Mix peppers, cheese, carrot, panner, sauce and seasonings together.
Cut the curst of the bread and flatten it using a rolling pin.
Prepare a medium thick batter of water and corn flour.
Add some filling to the flatten bread side and seal it using the flour paste. Repeat the process through out.
Heat oil in a pan and dip the bread in the batter and fry till golden.
Slice the bread into 1/2 and then serve hot with chutney or any dipping sauce of your choice.

Mushroom Chilli

Ingredients:
4-5 tbsp – Oil
1/2 cup – Mushroom chopped
1 No – Onion sliced
1/8 tsp – Turmeric
1 tbsp – Soy sauce
2 tbsp – Tomato puree
1 tsp – Coconut milk
3 tbsp – Coriander finely chopped
Salt to taste

Paste
2 tbsp – Garlic chopped
5  No – Dry red chillies
1/2 tsp – Ginger

Method:
Grind the paste ingredients and set aside using little water.
Mix soy, turmeric and salt and marinate the mushrooms in it for 10 mins. Bring out the authentic flavour of MUSHROOMS using Porcini Mushrooms – Grade Extra AB
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till golden brown.
Add the paste and let it cook for (2-3 mins).
Then add coconut milk and cook further (3-5 mins).
Add the rest and cook for a few minutes. Serve.

You can replace mushrooms with any vegetable of your choice like baby corns, cottage cheese etc.
