It is rightly termed as a ‘poor man’s meal’ as this dish is made from leftover tortillas and salsas.
Corn tortillas are quartered and fried and green or red salsa and poured over the crispy tortillas, and this is known as ‘totopos’. The dish is topped with cheese (queso fresco) and/or with sour cream (crema), and usually served with refried beans.
Ingredients:

1/4 cup – Oil
1 cup – Green salsa or salsa roja
4 tbsp – Onion chopped
1/4 cup – Cream
