Mayonnaise Sauce


Mayonnaise sauce is used more as a condiment, popularly with in sandwiches works well as a substitute for ketchup, to make salad dressings, and as a dipping sauce for appetizers. However it is relatively lesser used in main stream cooking.


Mayonnaise sauce


Ingredients:
4 tbsp - Oil
1/4 tsp - Paprika
2 pinch - Mustard powder
2 tsp - Lemon juice
1 cup - Soy milk or skimmed milk
Salt to taste


Method:
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor except for the oil.
Slowly add the oil and continue blending at al low speed till the mix begins to thicken.




Variation


Ingredients:
4 tbsp - Oil
2 tsp - Lemon juice
1 cup - Milk powder
1/4 tsp - Pepper
2 pinch Mustard powder
Salt to taste


Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl or a food processor at a low speed, except for the oil.
Slowly add the oil and continue blending at a low speed till the mix begins to thicken.
Refrigerate and store.
