Marinara Sauce Recipe
Marinara is derived from the Italian word marinaro ‘of the sea’. A meatless sauce extensively used on sailing ships, as they lacked refrigeration then.
This sauce is usually made spicier than the regular tomato sauce. But yet it blends well with any pasta dish.
It is also served as a dipping sauce for finger foods. And adds zest if used as a base sauce for pizzas. A wide variety of pasta sauces, dressings and marinades at bargain prices.
