Lentil RecipesLentil Recipes - 11 Mixed Yellow Dal Ingredients: 3 tbsp - Ghee 2/3 cup - Pigeon pea (toor dal) cup - Yellow bengal gram (channa) 1/4 cup - White dal (urad) 4 No - Garlic finely chopped 1 inch - Ginger Stick finely chopped 2 No - Green chilli finely chopped 2 No - Onions 8-10 No - Coriander chopped 1/4 tsp - Turmeric 1/4 tsp - Cumin Seeds Salt to taste Free spice sample of your choice click here Method: Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin to it. When it begins to sizzle then add onions to it. When the onions start turning brown add ginger, chilli, garlic and let them cook for a while. Add turmeric stir for a min and then add the lentils. Blend pigeon pea lentils and mix the other 2 two without blending and let them boil well. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with rice or bread. Recipe - 12
Masur Aloo Dal Ingredients: 2 tbsp - Oil 1 cup - Red lentils (masur) 5 No - Garlic finely chopped 1 inch - Ginger finely chopped 2 No - Green chilli finely chopped 2 No - Potatoes boiled 2 No - Tomaotes finely chopped 2 No - Onions 1/4 tsp - Turmeric 1/4 tsp - Cumin Seeds Salt to taste Method: Heat ghee in pan and add cumin to it. When it begins to sizzle then add ginger, garlic to it. When the ginger, garlic start turning brown add the onions, chilli, and let them cook for a while.
