KitchenAid K45SS Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer is a perfect stand mixer for the modest home cook.
The mixer comes with a 250-watt motor, 4 1/2 quart mixing bowl and a mixing speed of 10, which is pretty much normal for preparing any homemade recipes.
Used mainly for baking chores of creaming butter and sugar, kneading the dough, preparing cake batter, etc. This product is also a good run for other kitchen chore like cutting, shredding fruits and vegetables or grinding coffee beans.
The mixer benefits from a heavy, sturdy motor and simple design, offering both ease and flexibility of use.

Functionality
This KitchenAid K45SS Classic 250-Watt 4-1/2-Quart Stand Mixer has only a single beater (mixing attachment) which rotates both ways – spins on its own axis and also rotates around the edge of the bowl, giving easy access for thoroughly mixing ingredients, adding more and also scraping down the sides, if required.
Additional attachments include a
Flat paddle for kneading doughs, cake batter, creaming butter or other general mixing work and sugar,
C-shaped dough hook for kneading yeast doughs,
Wire whip for beating egg whites or whipping cream.
It also comes with a bowl lock and the lock secures the hinged head preventing jumping while kneading stiffer doughs.

However, despite the several ups there is no product free from certain drawbacks. Being the least powerful machine from the entire Kitchen aid range, it can get difficult in kneading really stiff doughs.
While kneading stiff doughs the bowl sometimes gets tightened and it is difficult to remove it from the base.
At times the motor gets really heated and so you need to take an occasional break while kneading tough doughs.

But in all I think it’s a descent product and good investment money wise based on the product functionalities, except for one thing that it is available only white glossy colour. But the good part is the glossy finish makes cleaning easy.
