Easy to Make Appetizers – Bread Corn Rolls

These fried bread rolls are quite a popular recipe.
One can be creative by using several fillings with some of the popular ones being of potatoes/Indian panner and vegetables. You can use spicesĀ  specific to a particular cuisine. Like this recipe which is more Oriental – based on a subtle sweet and spicy flavour.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup – Oil
1 cup – Corns
8 No – Bread slices
2 No – Green chilli finely chopped
1 No – Onion medium size chopped or
2 No – Spirng onions medium size chopped
1/2 tsp – Garlic minced (option)
1 tbsp – Soy sauce
Pinch or two of MSG
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat some oil in a pan and saute the onion, chillies till soft and pink.
Add the corns and seasonings and cook till mix dries.
Heat water in another pan and cover it with a lid. Place the breads on the lid.
After the bread turns a little soft (warms) take it off.
Keep it on a flat surface and lightly roll using a rolling pin.
The bread will stretch because it is moist.
Add the seasoning towards one end and roll.
Seal the edges with water or oil. Fry and serve hot.

Tip: You can use it as a stuffing for a sandwich or fried wonton filling.
Add the mix to the sandwich cut in small triangle secure with a toothpick. Can be served both hot or cold.
