Easy to make AppetizersEasy to make Appetizers - 3Vegetable Croquettes (Japanese style)
Ingredients: 1/2 cup - Oil 1/2 cup - Peas boiled mashed 1 cup - Potatoes boiled mashed 1/4 cup - Carrots boiled finely chopped 1/4 cup - Spring onions 1 tbsp - Ginger minced 1 tbsp - Soy sauce 1 tbsp - Corn flour 1 1/2 tbsp - Plain flour 1/4 tsp - Sugar 1/2 tbsp - Vinegar 2 tbsp - Bread crumbs Salt to taste Pepper to taste Method: Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger, spring onions and fry for a min. Add the remaining ingredients, except for bread crumbs and mix well. Remove from heat and let the mix cool. Then add the bread crumbs. Ingredients: 1 cup - Cottage cheese (panner) thinly sliced 2 No - Tomato large thinly sliced 1 No - Pepper large thinly sliced 1 No - Onion large thinly sliced 1/2 cup - Mozzarella Cheese Mix 2 tbsp - Olive oil 3 tbsp - Garlic 1 tbsp - Lemon juice 1 tsp - Red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp - Dried Basil Salt to taste Pepper to taste Method: Combine the mix ingredients in a bowl and set aside for about 15 mins. Pre-heat the grill at a high temperature. Pour the prepared mix over the vegetables and toss till well coated. Make sure to scoop out the centre of the tomato before chopping. Grill the vegetables for a while about 7-10 mins (peppers and cottage cheese may take a while). Remove vegetables from grill, and set aside. Apply some butter on the bread slices. Then place cheese on one side of the bread. Let it grill for about 2-3 mins. Keep a watch on the bottom side so that it does not burn while grilling. Remove from grill, and layer with vegetables.
