Curry Recipes - 3


Corn Korma


Ingredients:
2 tbsp - Oil
200 gm - Cream style corn tin
2 No - Cardamom pods
1/4 cup - Onion chopped
1 cup - Tomatoes chopped
1/4 cup - Yogurt
1/4 tsp - Chilli powder
2 tbsp - Coriander chopped
2 pinch turmeric
Salt to taste


Paste Mix
1/4 cup - Coconut grated
6 tbsp - Cashew nuts
2 No - Green chillies


Method:
Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions and cardamom on a high flame for a while.
Add the ground paste for 5-7 mins.
Add the remaining seasonings.
Add water approx. (1/4 - 1/2 cup) to obtain a curry like consistency. Mix well.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot. Ready To Eat Navratan Korma


Recipe - 4


Methi Curry


Ingredients:
1 No - Bay leaf
1/2 cup - Fenugreek leaves finely chopped
1 No - Onion finely chopped
1 tsp - Green chillies
1 tsp - Garlic paste
1 tsp - Ginger paste
3/4 cup - Tomatoes
1 tsp - Coriander powder
1 tsp - Garam masala
1 tsp - Cumin seeds
4 tbsp - Yogurt
1/4 tsp - Red chilli paste
1/4 tsp - Turmeric
1 tsp - Gram flour
Salt to taste


Method:
Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf and fry the onions for a while.
Add the fenugreek leaves and cook on a high flame for 8-10 mins.
Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste and stir well.
Add the tomatoes and masala and cook for a while.
Reduce flame and add the gram flour and curd cook for another 5-10 mins (gram flour takes a while to cook) Serve hot.
