Chutney Recipes – Khatti Meethi Chutney
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup – Water
1 cup – Tamarind
1 cup – Sugar
1 cup – Dates (khajur)
1 cup – Jaggery (gud)
1/8 tsp – Black salt
1/4 tsp – Ginger powder
1/4 tsp – Dry mango powder (amchur)
1/8 tsp – Asafoetida powder (hiang)
1/4 tsp – Garam masala
1/4 tsp – Coriander powder (dhania powder)
Method:
Soak the tamarind, jaggery and dates overnight in water.
Begin boiling and gradually keep adding the rest of the ingredients.
