Chutney Recipes – Ginger Chutney & Tomato Garlic Chutney
Ingredients:
1 tsp – Oil
1 tsp – Mustard seeds
50 gms – Ginger chopped
2 tbsp – Tamarind paste
2 No – Green chillies chopped
25 gms – Fresh coconut grated
1/4 tsp – Jaggery
5 No – Curry leaves
1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder (little less than 1/4 tsp)
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil and add the seeds once they splinter add the curry leaves. Turn off the gas.
Mix the rest and then grind.

Tomato Garlic Chutney
ngredients:
250gms – Tomatoes
1/2 No – Onion
4 No – Almonds blanched
1/4 tsp – Black cardamom
1 tsp – Ginger sliced
1/2 tsp – Garlic chopped
1/4 tsp – Red chilli
4 tbsp – Raisins
1/4 tsp – Sugar
1/2 cup – Vinegar
Salt to taste

Method:
In boiling water add the tomatoes, remove peel skin and keep aside.
Add all, except the last 4 ingredients to another pan and cook till the mix becomes thick.
Then add the rest and cook for further 10-15 mins.
