Chutney Recipes – Channa Chutney & Dal Chutney
Ingredients:
1/4 cup – Bengal gram (channa dal)
2 No – Green chilli
2 tbsp – Coconut
1/4 tsp – Ginger
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak the channa dal for 5-6 hours and grind coarsely all the ingredients.
Heat oil and add curry leaves and mustard seeds.

Dal Chuntey
Ingredients:
1 tsp – Oil
1/4 cup – Bengal gram (channa dal)
1 cup – White Lentils (urad dal)
5 No – Red chilli dry
1 tsp – Sesame seeds
1/4 tsp – Ginger
1 tsp – Tamarind paste
5 No – Curry leaves
1/4 tsp – Jaggery
2 pinches asafoetida powder (hing)
Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil and roast the dals till golden brown.
Add red chillies and continue for a few seconds.
Mix the rest and then grind.
