Chutney Recipes - 7


Tomato Garlic Chutney


Ingredients:
250gms - Tomatoes
1/2 No - Onion
4 No - Almonds blanched
1/4 tsp - Black cardamom
1 tsp - Ginger sliced
1/2 tsp - Garlic chopped
1/4 tsp - Red chilli
4 tbsp - Raisins
1/4 tsp - Sugar
1/2 cup - Vinegar
Salt to taste

Method:
In boiling water add the tomatoes, remove peel skin and keep aside.
Add all, except the last 4 ingredients to another pan and cook till the mix becomes thick.
Then add the rest and cook for further 10-15 mins.


Recipe - 8


Raw Mango Chutney


Ingredients:
1 tsp - Oil
1 No - Sour mango peel grated
1/4 tsp - Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp - Fenugreek seeds
1/4 tsp - Red chilli
1/4 tsp - Turmeric
2 pinches asafoetida powder
Salt to taste


Method:
Heat oil and add the seeds. Once they splinter add the rest and cook for a while.
Store in an airtight container and keeps well for 2 weeks.
