Chutney Recipes - 5


Dahi Chuntey


Ingredients:
1 tsp - Oil
1 cup - Curd
1/4 tsp - Ginger grated
1/2 cup - Coconut ground or grated
1/4 tsp - Curry leaves
1/8 tsp - Sugar
1/4 tsp - Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp - Urad dal
1 No - Dry red chilli
Salt to taste


Method:
In boiling water add the tomatoes, remove peel skin and keep aside.
Add all, except the last 4 ingredients to another pan and cook till the mix becomes thick.
Then add the rest and cook for further 10-15 mins.


Variation
1 cup - Curd
1/4 tsp - Ginger grated
1/2 cup - Coconut grated
3 No - Green chillies chopped
1/8 tsp - Sugar
Salt to taste


Method:
Blend al the ingredients to get a thick paste or pulp like consistency. Add a little water if needed.

Recipe - 6


Channa Chutney


Ingredients:
1/4 cup - Bengal gram (channa dal)
2 No - Green chilli
2 tbsp - Coconut
1/4 tsp - Ginger
Salt to taste


Method:
Soak the channa dal for 5-6 hours and grind coarsely all the ingredients.
Heat oil and add curry leaves and mustard seeds.
Add it to the chutney.
