The juice of a carrot can be used in making soap or as a liquid in anything from cakes to stews.
Make a great natural facial mask. Cook the carrots until soft mash into a soft paste. Apply as it is or mix with a bit of honey. Puree the carrot and apply the juice on your face or use as an organic hair dye.
Health wise the number one health benefit of carrot is not Vitamin C but Vitamin A.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp – Butter
8 No – Baby carrots sliced
1 tsp – Brown sugar
2 tbsp – Thyme
1 1/2 tbsp – Honey
1 tsp – Sesame seeds toasted
1/4 cup – Orange juice
1/2 tsp – Orange rind grated
Method:
Add carrots in a sauce pan and bring water to a boil. Cook till the carrots till a little tender.
Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium-low heat and add orange, honey and sugar and stir till the sugar melts.
Then add carrots and thyme. Mix till well coated.
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and serve.

Its natural properties such as thickness holds on to the food surface while cooking, rather than falling off which occurs with other sweetening agents.

It was rated as the most hated vegetable of UK in 2002.
Brussels sprouts are named after the capital of Belgium where it was believed to have been first cultivated in the 16th century.
Is a great food for pregnant women because of the high amounts of folic acid, prevents liver disorder, cancer and is good for overall health.
Ingredients:
1 cup – Brussels sprouts quartered (1/4 pound)
2 tbsp – Olive oil
1/4 tsp – Pepper
1/4 cup – Apple juice
1 tbsp – Cider vinegar
Sea salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil in a pan oil add salt, pepper and brussel sprouts and cook till golden brown.
Raise the heat and add cider vinegar and apple juice cook till most liquid dries.
