Cheese Appetizers – Grilled Cheese Slices
The combination of wine, cheese and sundried tomato is age old.
The classic rich semi-hard mature cheddar, known for its nutty flavour perfectly blends with fruits and sundried tomatoes. Sparkling ciders and wines along with pale ales, and stout beers is the perfect accompaniment to the diverse flavour of any semi-hard cheese.
It is one of the best appetizers one can offer.
Ingredients:
Cheddar cheese slices
5 No – Jalapenos pepper halves
10 – Sun dried tomato slices
Pepper to taste
Method:
Preheat the broiler.
Place the cheese into the laved jalapenoes.
Wrap them with the sundried tomato slices, using a toothpick, if necessary.
Bake till lightly brown.
Garnish with pepper and serve.

Ingredients:
3 tbsp – Olive oil
1 No – Garlic clove minced
1 No – Bell pepper sliced
5 No – Mushroom sliced
1 No – Onion sliced
1/2 No – Zucchini sliced
2 No – Eggplant sliced
2 tbsp – Whipping cream
1/4 cup – Cheese
1 tbsp – Thyme
Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Method:
Brush the olive oil on the vegetables and sprinkle with thyme.
Grill until a little soft and slightly charred.
In a small bowl, mix cheese, whipping cream, thyme and garlic.
Season with salt and black pepper.
