Best Appetizer Recipes – Chinese Coin Pizza

This is a healthy vegetarian version of the popular pizza. Instead of cheese and tomato sauce, we replace the base sauce with a traditional chinese sauce (sichuan, plum sauce, hoisin etc) and add plenty of vegetable toppings.

Ingredients:
10 No – Mini pizza bases
3 tbsp – Oil
1/4 tsp – Ginger grated
1/8 tsp – Garlic grated
2 No – Green onion shredded
1/4 cup – Thin noodles
2 tbsp – Plum sauce or hoisin sauce
1/4 cup – Cabbage shredded
1/4 cup – Carrot shredded
1/4 cup – Pepper shredded
1/4 cup – Button mushrooms sliced
1/2 tbsp – Vinegar
1 tbsp – Soy sauce
1 No – Veg seasoning cube
Salt to taste

Method:
Soak the noodles in water to soften them and then cut into short lengths and mix with vegetables.
Heat oil over a high flame briefly fry garlic, spring onion and ginger.
Add the vegetable and stir fry for about 2-3 min (they should be firm).
Add the seasonings and mix well. Cook for about 2 mins.
Spread sauce on dough, and top with stir-fried vegetables.

You can replace with tofu or any other vegetables (water chestnuts, snow peas and sprouts)
