Alfredo Sauce
Alfredo sauce is a part of the famous pasta recipe ‘fettuccine alfredo’. Basically cheese, butter and heavy cream are combined to form a thick sauce as a coating around the fettuccine pasta. Though having originated in Rome, for Italians the name alfredo is unknown. Nor is the sauce ever prepared separately from the dish.
In Itlay this dish is known as Fettuccine al burro, which is fettuccine with butter and cream. Buy Knorr’s Alfredo Pasta Sauce Mix
